Privacy
This notice explains how personal data is processed when you use this website. It is based on the GDPR (DSGVO) and, where applicable, the German TDDDG. Only the controller details are specific to this restaurant.
1. Controller
Asia Old Place, Theodor-Wiedemann-Straße 19, 86161 Augsburg, Deutschland.
Phone: 0821 66109575
2. Data we process
When you visit the site, technical server logs may be created (for example IP address, date and time, requested page and browser information). They are used to operate and secure the website.
If you contact us (for example by email or via a contact form), we process the details you provide in order to handle your request.
Your cookie preference is stored in your browser so that we can remember your choice.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Operation and security of the website: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Responding to enquiries: steps prior to a contract or legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR); where required, your consent.
Optional third-party content (for example YouTube or map embeds): only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, the TDDDG).
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Strictly necessary storage is required for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice; consent is not required for that storage.
External media such as YouTube videos and map embeds load only if you allow the “External media” category. Without consent, a placeholder is shown instead.
Analytics or marketing cookies are not used at present. If they are introduced later, they will run only with your prior consent.
You can change your choice at any time on the Cookie settings page.
5. Recipients and third parties
If you allow external media, providers such as YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) or map services (for example Google Maps) may receive your IP address and device information. Their own privacy notices apply to that processing.
We do not sell your data. Transfers take place only where necessary for hosting and operation of the site, or where we are legally obliged to do so.
6. Retention
Enquiry data is deleted within a reasonable period after your request has been dealt with, unless longer statutory retention applies.
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operation.
Cookie preferences remain in your browser until you delete them or they expire.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, please use the contact details of the controller.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Germany this is usually the data protection authority of the federal state in which the controller is established.
8. Changes
We may update this notice if the law or our technical setup changes. The current version is published on this page.
